The BLESSING
Read and decree The Blessing daily and pray in tongues for 15 minutes after declaring it to receive Revelation for your business, career, ministry or family. If you discern some parts aren't active for you meditate on it to identify what you're missing. Below is a model of how you might chew on The Word and extrapolate greater dimensions of understanding.

Deuteronomy 28:1
And it will be if you obey the Lord, your God, to observe to
fulfill all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord,
your God, will place you supreme above all the nations of the earth.
(CJB)
2.5.2020 And it will be if you obey The Lord, your God:
+The use of 'if' means this Promise is conditional. If I obey, I have the right to be blessed according to what follows in this passage.
+Obey is different for NT Saints. John 14:15 says If you love Me, you will keep my Commandments. Love is the Greek word agapate meaning to love, wish well, take pleasure in, long for, esteem. In Greek 'you will keep' is teresete meaning to guard, to detain. We choose to honor God's Commandments because of our love relationship for Him, not out of fear of death or being cut off from Him.
+Dishonoring The Lord has consequences - spiritual separation (lack of peace and provision), ineligible for The Blessing, agreement with the demonic opens the door and gives them legal right to steal, kill and destroy. If you don't have The Blessing, you have the curse.
+This is an OT Promise, but I'm a NT Saint not an Israelite, so how can I be eligible? Jesus is the answer. Galatians 3:14 says Through
Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same Blessing He
promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the
promised Holy Spirit through Faith. I believe in Jesus and am a person of Faith so I'm eligible if I honor The Lord's Word and Instructions.
Holy Spirit, show me areas of dishonor in my life. I submit to receive your Revelation, to repent and make the necessary changes to come into alignment with Your Word and Will. Thank You for forgiveness and for cleansing me of all unrighteousness. I desire to harvest The Blessing in every realm of my life. I declare this by Faith in Jesus' Name and believe I received when I prayed. Amen.
2.6.2020 to observe to fulfill all His Commandments which I command you this day:
+to
observe is to guard, to attend to, to hedge about, to protect. This is a
demonstration of seeking The Kingdom first - His Way of being and doing
right. There's value in His Commandments if they need to be
protected/guarded. To attend to is to give focus and attention.
+In this busy life and world it requires a quality decision to do all of these things with His Commandments - guard, attend and protect them. So many things fight for our attention. Brings to mind Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to My Words.
+First, we have to find out what His Commands are - universally and individually. The Written Word is His Will and contains His Commandments. Also, personal prayer and communion, receiving from The Spirit of God.
Next, we need to prioritize them in a manner that guards, protects and attends to The Word and that pleases Him. How do I know what pleases God? The Word tells me - James 1:27 says pure religion is taking care of orphans and widows and remaining unstained by the world. Isaiah 1:17 tells me to learn to do right; seek Justice, defend the oppressed, fight for orphans and widows. Orphans and widows are mentioned in both verses that came to mind, so that's not something to be ignored. Oh, also, Jesus said if we love Him we'll keep His Commandments (John 14:15 again).
Faith is involved. Without Faith it's impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6). Love is involved. Faith works by Love (Galatians 5:6).
Wow! The Blessing is definitely a Kingdom Concept. It's totally different than how the world functions. That's why it takes work to activate. I suspect most just want to claim it because it's available in The Word, but being conditional we have to take appropriate corresponding actions.
+Who's
commanding us today? We live in a different time than when Moses led
The Israelites. The Word of God is God; it holds His Commandments. Holy
Spirit speaks to us and gives us Commandments. Oh, yeah! His
Commandments which are His Law is written in our hearts as NT Saints
(Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10). The heart is the human spirit. So, I can
focus in on my spirit while communing with The Godhead and receive
Revelation needed to know what I'm commanded each day.
Jesus, I love you and desire to keep Your Commandments. Today I make a quality decision to prioritize Your Will and to guard, protect and attend to it. I say I am hungry for The Word and Your Presence. I submit to learn from You what I need to do to activate this Blessing in my life.
2.15.2020 God will place you supreme over all the nations of The Earth.:
+God here is Yahweh,
meaning The God of Israel. No other god, and there are other lesser
gods, can give this type of Blessing. It's specific to The Seeds of
Abraham. Matter of fact, this section of verse 1 is taken from The Blessing given to Abram.
+In Genesis 12 Yahweh calls Abram and declares: I will bless you and make of you a great nation, and I will make your name great (exalted, distinguished), so that you will be a blessing.
+This applies to me because I'm The Seed of Abraham. Genesis 28:4 Isaac passes The Blessing of Abraham to Jacob and his descendants. And it says so that we can possess land! That's particularly relevant right now because I'm praying for a debt-free house and land. Galatians 3:14 explains that we're redeemed so that The Blessing of Abraham could come on us who believe in and have a Covenant Relationship with Jesus. That's me!
+I'm eligible for The
Blessing if I honor The Lord's Commands. Some of the other versions have
faithfully or diligently, etc. in them.
*NIV, NLT: fully obey, carefully follow
*ESV, BSB, CSB, HCSB, GWT: faithfully obey, being careful to follow
*NASB, NKJV: diligently obey, careful to do
*KJV: diligently
*GNT: faithfully
This
means it can't be an inconsistent behavior. It must be a willful,
intentional, conscious decision to honor The Lord's Word all day, every
day.
Is that possible? Yes. Philippians 4:13 promises that Jesus' Finished Work and Power enable me to do anything I want and need to do if I'm willing to believe it and live it.
What if I sin one day? 1 John 1:9 - confess and be cleansed and restored to righteousness in Jesus' Name. What if I often sin in some areas of God's Word? Confess and repent. But that's also a relationship problem. I don't know The Lord's Heart as well as is possible and that keeps me in bondage which is agreement with the demonic. Deliverance is necessary.
We
can be delivered by declaring The Word of God until it permeates our
very DNA and changes us - He sent His Word and healed them, and
delivered them from their destruction, which is Psalm 107:20; and Romans
10:17 reveals that Faith comes by hearing our own voice speak God's
Word on repeat.
Heavenly Father, I confess and repent of not honoring Your Commands to the point of disqualifying myself for The Blessing available to me. I receive Your Forgiveness and make the quality decision to honor You and Your Word from this moment forward. I will not change my mind and move away from Your Word in test or temptation. I decree The Blessing of The Lord is active in my life today. I take it by Faith. I declare this all in Jesus' Name, by The Authority He's given me and I seal it by Holy Spirit. Amen.
